Words of wisdom, I agree, no rush. It will still be there when you are ready to tackle the job.

Hello Cary:

First, I hope all is well at Yale. Second, I am going to give you some
advice.

You have a nice car that has some minor problems -- so what! You are going
to law school and will be short of funds for awhile. So what!

>From personal experiance: I have cars I bought more than 30 years ago and
still not restored. I have cars I bought more than 25 years ago -- finally
getting to them.

What you need to learn is patience. You have the raw material for a fine car
with a big block. Keep it, finish your education, get a job and then do your
 car.

Your priority, first and foremost, is to finish your education. After that,
the world awaits you.

And, you are man enough for car restoration -- you just have the cart before
the horse.

Kindest Regards,

Your Friend,

Sherwood Kahlenberg
