So you're saying with the new springs, there is actually no movement in the front of the springs, just the back. Unlike the stock ones where when the car is lifted the axle simply drops straight down. That makes sense.

  Not sure of the exact travel, but the axle will raise up about  5-6 inches 
  when weight is put on it, with all the movement being at the rear, as  the front
