Re: Race Engine Build time.

I enjoyed the entire thread.  I also used aviation fuel a few times.  It was a pain to get.  I could only succeed at a small rural airport.  The larger airports were either locked up tight or you had to own a plane to access the pumps. That is why VP racing fuel became my choice.  Using 93 octane when I could find it or if 91 premium octane was used, putting 2 gallons of 109 VP in the tank.  It made me start digging for the build parts receipts from several years ago.  Once I find that I’ll post the engine specs for a 1962 413, bored out to 427.

I believe that is on the data when my Polara 500 was 1962to1965Mopar car of the month a few years ago.

I enjoyed greatly the recent threads.  Gets the blood flowing for the start of this Spring season.

Thanks to all.

Bingo! I don't recall that topic combination previously. The main theme of the discussion still generally fits the discussion
guidelines though,  since it orbits around the engine build / 1962-1965 Mopar sun. :)

Thanks,

BTW Akron Don … apologies. It appears we went off on a tangent with
this thread. It wasn’t my intention to hijack it in favor of a 100LL
deep dive. Best of luck with your build. What fun! I’m itching to
start another one soon.

That said, perhaps our topic deviation wasn’t all bad. We managed to
work airplane and hijack into a conversation. Could that be a first,
Mr. Gary admin? :-D
