When dealing with U-Haul, remember that there's two types of U-Haul places, the company owned moving centers and the U-Haul dealers. Dealers are typically gas stations, rental stores, storage places, etc. that handle U-Haul trailers and trucks as a side line. Those places tend to be a lot more willing to help you and could usually care less what you're towing with. Sometimes the company owned stores can be more difficult. Maybe he's behind on his rentals for the month and needs to move some trucks. I rented an AT trailer in Alabama and towed my 64 SF vert to Minnesota behind my full size van. No problem. Your 4X4 full size should have no problem with that load either.
