This is more of an engineering question, but it applies to a project I'm working on for my '65. I'm working on a distributor modification, and an Accel Dual-Point RB distributor (30300, SN B48798) I have uses 4 bearings between the shaft and the housing - a steel needle-roller thrust bearing (with washers) at each end of the housing, and then a pair of caged needle bearings between the ID of the housing and the OD of the shaft.

I'm trying to find similar replacement bearings but all the steel needle-rolller thrust bearings at McMaster-Carr are rated for is 250 degrees F. The bearings are made of hardened steel, but still only 250F. Is this temperature rating sufficient for being inside an engine? Anyone know another place I could get better bearings? Shaft diameter is 1/2", by the way.
