I've got my 3/8" fuel line routed through the factory locations - no
trouble with heat. Fuel pressure should be 6 -7 psi, no more. As far
as a fuel pump, I use a Carter High volume pump with no problem with my
Belvedere. It had a Edelbrock 750 on my 440 and it produced about 425
HP at the flywheel.

I am upgrading the feul system in my 65 Coronet. It has the original
5/16" line and I'm going to a 3/8" line. The car engine is a 440
engine with 750 carter afb. I am running the stock pump now and was
going to go to a new electronic pump. what is the recomended PSI for
feul pressure? I have a new guage as well but wanted to know what the
optimum setting would be, and if i would need a regulator. I have
already modified the original sender to a 3/8" tube and it looks
great. What is the best routing for the new line to avoid the close
proximity of the headers to the original. Do i need a return line?
any other suggestions would be appreciated thanks.
