I have a canadian parts catolog it says vin first no. car line 3= ply 4 =
model sport fury
4 = year 64 1= plymouth plant detroit according to parts catolog no sport
furys were made in canada all were made in usa at detroit or newark del.
parts are listed as both plymouth and dodge had diferant dashes. the
catolog does make referance to special built canadian sport furys but does
not go into detail as I have found yet. will look further. Dave O

Hi, model sport fury

Canadian Dodges and Plymouths had the same dashes in 1964.

The Canadian VIN would have 9 as the 4th character such as 5249XXXXXX.

The Dodge dash (or just the instrument cluster) must have been switched
out.

The Brochures from Canada all show the Plymouth instrument clusters.

Regards,

K.
