However. a Canadian-built Plymouth would have a Plymouth dash, not a Dodge. The Canadian-built 1964 Dodge also used the Plymouth dash - and interior. So this car is an American-built Plymouth that someone has installed a Dodge dash. (The Lynch Road plant did not build Dodges in 1964 so it is not a matter of getting dashes mixed up.) Also, the "4" series Sport Fury was not built in Canada. A Canadian-built Sport Fury would be a "3", same as the Fury, and would be identified by the interior trim code on the cowl tag - it would have bucket seats. Helping out a gent with a 1964 Plymouth "B" that has a Dodge dash. That dash seems to indicate a Canadian built car, but the vin says the car was assembled in MI. Does that make sense to anyone? Are Canadian vin's different, eh? Here's the Vin = 3441xxxxxx 3 = Plymouth V8 4 = Sport Fury 4 = 1964 1 = Assembled at Lynch Road, Detroit, MI xxxxxx sequence number Should this "1" be a "9" for Windsor, Ont., Canada?
