When was the last time you fellow Mopar crazies got to look at an all
original and COMPLETE cross ram 413??? Well I saw one today. My friend Tom
wanted to know if I would help him load and haul his "new" car.The new car
was a '29 Chrysler coupe, engine and running chassis was completely rebuilt
years ago but it was never reassembled. What a find... the metal body is
quite thin as is actually nailed to the wooden innerstructure. Whan was the
last time anyone had to have a wood shop to rebuild a car? Anyhoos, we got
it to his place and I ogled all the old Mopars,'57 Dodge vert with 2x4 383
,'57 New Yorker 'vert with 392 Hemi and factory A/C, '58 Desoto Adventurer
{one of 350} also with a 2X4 383. As I was admiring some of the old early
'50s potato looking Hemi cars he says " you might want to see this " There
sits a ragged old engine complete from the air cleaners to the cast iron
headers. Out of a ' 64 300 K I believe.It was too much! I saw the 1st
factory full hyd brakes on a
production car and saw the wildest looking engine you could imagine, all
in one place. I'm still reeling! Stan
