Unfortunately I don't have a shop within 300 miles of me that can do the work - and even in Anchorage I would be pressing my luck (we were making phone calls on Friday). When we transfer from Kodiak Island next year and get back to the lower-48 I'll see about getting it repaired then. Until then...well, who knows...maybe an aluminum dual-quad intake is in my future...??? ;) Andy skpowell@xxxxxxxxxxxx wrote: Hey Andy, I'd agree with our esteemed Mr. Dulmage that your manifold is repairable. From looking at your pictures, it looks like the cracks are from a combination of poor casting and heat stress. The latter compounded by the previous. I would try and find a shop that specializes in repairing cracked cast iron and get a quote on the repair. Good Luck. --------------------------------- Do you Yahoo!? New and Improved Yahoo!
