I was told that Herb Rubin rebuilds electric window motors and just gave him a call. It seems that he is retired and is no longer in business. Too bad, seemed like a nice guy.

At this point, I have found only a couple of people who would be willing to do the work.

JC Auto Restorers - Can do it, but want $125 each and it will take 4 to 6 weeks. Nice guy to boot.

Walsh Windshield Wipers and Motors - He will rebuild the cores for $88 each. Does anyone know if their work is any good? I'm inclined to go with him.

J Pinto Antique Restorations - Will not quote on the phone. Wants me to ship them to him and he'll then provide a quote. Don't like the idea of investing $40 in shipping and then get a really high price quote.

Any other ideas or suggestions?

I'm in the San Francisco Area if that helps.

Thanks
