Brian,

It is my understanding that you did not have matching numbers
in Mopar products until about 67 or 69. The only thing to go
by on the older stuff is the manfacture date of the block. The
newer stuff does match the vin, I know I have found it on 72's
but I think it started sooner. Maybe some of the Galen type guys
can give us the exact date it started.

Sherwood should know. How about it Sherwood?

Should the last six digits on a '62 318 block match the last six digits
on 
the Vehicle Number Plate inside the drivers side door?
