First whats this about do not runmanual brakes?
I have stock brakes with police (metallic linings) and the original master etc etc and they are manula. They are very afdaquate brakes and i have no trouble whatsoever stopping and i do drive it hard all the time. I dont understand what all the fuss is about. I also racesd a 63 with a 68 hemi in it in my youth. Same brake set uo with no trouble.

Re the cam for the 440 max wedge clone.
Racer Brown ST-H-42 would be the best choice (Hydraulic) but it wont run 12s, more like mid to low elevens at least. A comp cam 305 H would also work but not as well. Both cams require a bit of tuning but are good perfomers. The RB is a cam that, even today, has no equal.
We have not found the MP cams to be the best choice and we have tried a few.
