getting a 220 is always better,but I'm on my second 110.I now have a 135 Hobart and love it.With a little knowledge a good welder can weld more than 1/4 with one. I used both of mine on race car frames and never had a problem with the welds even after running the car into a concrete wall at about 70 MPH{NOT by my choice} lol tubes broke but all the welds held just fine.The welder Eastwood has on sale would be the best choice by far just on the price alone.My Hobart ran me a lil over $400 without bottle.IF you can afford a good Miller or Hobart 220 volt go for it,IF not then go for the Eastwood 110 volt.
