I am considering a MIG welder. A friend suggested that a 120 volt unit is all that I would need, it would be able to weld up to 3/16" to 1/4" mild steel and that is all I would ever need. I have looked at some at a welding supply house and Eastwood has this one on special: http://www.eastwood.com/review/product/list/id/5075/?p=5 Any comments on MIG welders would be appreciated.
