It's a trigger type gun with a plastic canister in between the gun and the brake bleeder. If I hold my thumb over the hose end and pump a few times, I'm definitely getting suction on my thumb. But when I connect to the bleeder, I just get air. It seems to me that the hose connection to the bleeder is tight. I have the MC cap off just a bit to let some air in, but it's full of fluid. Also, I started with the rear passenger tire, but the instructions say start closest to the the MC and work away from it. Does that make sense? Anyone have any experience with these things? Seems simple enough and I can't figure out where all the air's coming from. Maybe through the loose threads on the bleeder? As always, thanks. - Jim Jim Altemose, Long Island, NY '63 Polara 500 (Max Wedge) '63 Polara 500 (383) '65 Belvedere I (Street Wedge) '71 Bronco -- --Please address private mail -- mail of interest to only one person -- directly to that person.
