Herb The unit is supposed to be grounded by the locking ring but it could be that it is not working. I just now remembered that after I had the underside of the car sand blasted, I then painted it with a por 15 type of paint and I also lined the top of the tank area with rubber, so it could be that I don't have a ground....Doh.. I will attach a separate ground wire today.
