I have a Edelbrock Torker II which is a single plane manifold on my with a similar air cleaner. Same results - wing nut tore through the insulation pad. Took off the insulation pad.

Hmmm - I'm about to add a 1/4" Spacer to the motor mounts to get some cross link clearance at the oil pan. Better check the clearance before I close the hood.
