Don  Yes most parts store are full of guys just working and getting paid.
Thats what really bothers Jeff about most of the counter jockeys he knows or
has to work with.  There is the odd guy that knows his stuff or is willing
to look.  Your better off picking the brain of the old guy sitting back at
the parts counter, that is if he has time because of all the "hard " look
ups the younger guys throw at him so they can go out for a smoke. On the
other side , Jeff says most guys come in the parts store expecting the
counter guy  know what they want and think they know how to fix it.  Jeff's
boss always says " I hate retail"  , he would rather deal with the garages.
If you need a good Mopar parts guy Don you should look Jeff up.  He spends
most of his days living and breathing old Mopar.

My buddy is worse than me. When some one tels him the parts guy said bla bla
bla, he just hands them the keys back and says" well then get the "H" out of
 here and take it to hm and have him fix it. . Anyway. It would be nice if
they al knew even their product line but they dont. For me Weatherhead
fittings have become a nightmare. it is not unusual to spend 20 bucks gas
trying to find a 3 dollar part. Only the old dudes at the part store know
what I want. The new genaration has the deer in the headlights look. Probaly
something they smoked or maybe their ear ring is too tight!
