RE: Rad hose?



That is the same part that NAPA sells and it does NOT require a spring. 
I have used those hoses without any problems. Gates may sell the same 
basic hose with a spring (different part #) for some lower hose 
applications.

NAPA also sells a flex hose that can be substituted and may be trying to 
avoid confusion between the two hoses.
