RE: 318 Eddy Performer manifold questions

I have found that by unscrewing the portion of the linkage that snaps 
onto the carb kickdown pin, I can simply cut a short piece of 1/4"-28 
threaded rod and attach it to the existing threads with a couple of lock 
nuts and a union. It's all cheap at the hardware store and saves a 
linkage for some other time or someone else.
