Subject: tank filter

Clear DayHello all, I'm replacing my fuel tank on my 64 dodge 440, and the sending unit is in good shape but there is a little filter at the end of the fuel line, that is in the tank, looks like it is one piece, and will not come off the fuel line. Question, does it come off or do I need to get a whole new sending unit? Or is there some way that someone out there has found to resolve this problem? Thanks all..... Butch

This practice will protect your privacy, reduce the total volume of mail and fine tune the content signal to Mopar topic. Thanks!
