The plates are cleared but DMV is telling me these plates have to be once registered to this same vehicle, which they were not. How's everyone else doing it? I was told that as long as the plates are cleared (not currently registered) they can be transferred to a vehicle that had the same colored plates. I would appreciate any help from you other Californians.
