Great stuff Don! Question - will the 400 rod 451 rev faster than the longer
rod motor? Also, while researching this build and reading Old Reliable, I
stayed with the stock rod for two reasons. One, I'm cheap, and two,
everything I read said the mopar forged rods were very strong and were adequate for a
6000 rpm motor. Kinda like the pistons. I had the rods magged and resized
with Milodon bolts. Hopefully they will be ok. I plan a out of car dyno on
the motor this winter with the 2x4 manifold and a Performer rpm. Suggestions
on the single 4bbl appreciated. Joe
