Keith Black makes a piston for this application.  The pin does not  infringe 
on the oil ring groove.  There is a .095 dome on the 400 rod  piston that 
fills the open chamber.  On the 440 rod piston this dome is not  there, plus there 
is a different piston height to make up for the longer  rod.  I had a set of 
440 rods when I built mine, but I was going by another  person who used the 
400 rods.  I think the 440 rods give a better  bore/stroke ratio (1.80 vs 1.70) 
and they may be worth a few cubic  inches.   Joe
