Yes the lancer is the same.  Its 53" end to end, and 43" on the
perches.  What's interesting is a B body 8.75 from 62-63 would be
PERFECT.  If that measurement is right.  It doesn't correspond to the
ones I've been using at:
http://www.bigblockdart.com/axleinfo/diffchart.shtml

That site says the B body 8.75 would be 2" wider and the perches off
by 1 inch.  I'm unfamiliar with tapered axles but reading the site you
gave me?

Where can these be easily had?

Ha!  You aren't kidding.  I'll also need to shorten the driveshaft
quite a bit more.  I have a ball/trunion driveshaft now, so is that
going to be an issue?
