Remember that block can be fixed. If you can't get a welder, There is a
technique called stitching I think. You drill and tap holes in the crack and
screw in a cast iron stud and grind off the end. the next hole I believe go
through the edge of the stud ans will repair most cracks. An old timer that
used to build Indy cars and midgets showed me this years ago. The Poly can
