That's a tough spot to be in.  I could have rebuilt a 440 as well, but I chose the Poly.  I like the uniqueness of it, and the fact that I already had everything for a rebuild (nevermind that I ended up hot-rodding it...!).
 
I vote you find a new Poly block somewhere.  Rumor has it you can get 'em for free!
