I too have a Weiand intake with a mild RV cam (as the shop who rebuilt it my motor called it RV cam) not to sure what the duration is or anything else and a Carter 650 w/mechanical sencondaries. Now he only thing I need now is to get a set of headers and I will be all set, check with Bob he will know what pistons you can get off the shelf for your motor. How many different head castings are there (as far as I know there's only one though there are at least two different finished heads (one drilled and tapped for the alternator bracket)? 2. What is the stock chamber volume, compression ratio, etc? 3. How much can you shave off a poly head (what's the smallest chamber volume you can get)? 4. What's up with the Silv-O-Lite replacement pistons having an advertised compression ratio of 8.8:1 (see http://www.beckracing.com/slvpg37.htm )? Shouldn't it be closer to 10:1? Anyone know of any other off the shelf poly piston suppliers (TRW/Sealed Power, etc)? I'm aware that you can get just about anything made; I'm interested in knowing what's still on the shelf. Anyone who cares to tackle any part of this is welcome to.
