Although not a popular choice here, I have been using ATF+4 for 18 months with any issues in daily traffic in San Francisco and the runs to my place out of town on the freeway.

Dextron 3? (Versus Type F)

Any preferred brand?

Dex 3. I had used both in my G, and saw no difference. Type F is the old racers trick for 727's. And ATF+4 is a total waste of money.
