{Chrysler 300} 1962 Trans. Installation

I have a rebuilt engine & trans to install.

(In all honesty; it is for the NY Wagon versus the 300 Sport or 300 H)

I am considering installing the transmission solo….Before I install the engine.

Reason being is how scary it is to tilt both engine & trans into the car; as I do this in my backyard without a car lift.

Does anyone have any helpful hints on how to install the trans.?

I have a normal jack & jack stands; but not a transmission jack.

I have the factory service manual; but not some of the Chrysler tools it calls for.

Just wondering if there are helpful hints is all.

And once installed….Can it spend some time without the engine supporting its front?

Or shall I use my floor jack to rest the front of the trans on?
