{Chrysler 300} 1962 Dash Name Plate Attachment

The aluminum name plates that live on the face of the dashboard….

Are they solely secured by items that live in front of them?

Or was there any adhesive from the factory to the metal dash?

Like the piece that lives behind the Radio Knobs….
