RE: {Chrysler 300} Re: Temp & Fuel gauges

I purchased some of those new manufacture circuit boards as well as the digital dash voltage limiter from that guy in Texas. See my old posts.

I also wired the limiter with long wires and it is sitting atop the steering column so I can change it without messing with the dash.

That combination coupled with my engine bay digital voltage regulator set at 14.1 volts gives me good gauges and great lighting with regular bulbs. The 90 AMP alternator also gives me 13 volts at idle.

On the dash I also run a wire from one of the dash screws on the back to a good ground and I do not depend on the path through the dash for the ground.

sounds like no ground on metal or board ground , that plug .. Jump around ground pin to solid ground or solder pins to board

see posts earlier this year .

Do not leave key on you will burn out gauges , regulator does not work if not grounded puts 12v on 5 v gauges burns them out . Why it pegs .

Hello and Happy New Year.

I have successfully replaced the 64 speedometer, and it is a working unit.

However, the fuel and temp gauges were also replaced.

Both gauges peg to left during operation,

And the high beam indicator does not function.

Believing that all elect. connections are correct

Any thoughts or experiences?

Thanks
