Thanks Dan, The odd thing is that in the service manual they specifically tell you to not use anything other than “led-plate” grease and they also specifically tell you to not use lubriplate and the like. It would be a good idea to take them apart, clean and lubricate them with a grease while you have them out. It will assure they park (wipers
rest down near the cowl at the bottom of the windshield) properly. They're the reason we often see wipers resting at an angle on the windshield away from the cowl.
