{Chrysler 300} 1964 Parking Cam for wipers

Has anyone taken apart the linkage arms on the wipers (variable speed) and can tell me if the nylon parking cams in the arms are an item that does wear down? If they are, I will pull them out while I have the dash open and see if mine are ok or not.
