I assume Don Verity will agree with me on this, the procedure for setting the TV rod (throttle valve rod-maybe Chrysler calls it something else) is set in stone. You are to set it to the specifications set forth in the shop manual. It is not adjusted for preference or feel, it is not a user control interface. It is an adjustment that once made on a correctly operating transmission is not to be made again until the carb/pedal linkages are disturbed. The risk in maladjustment is to drive around with improper line pressures and burn up clutches. Danny Plotkin From: chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [mailto:chrysler-300-club-international@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx] On Behalf Of Cox Mail Yes it's called different things. It connects the throttle to The transmission throttle Pressure lever on transmission. This controls shift timing in Relation to throttle opening. It also provides down shifting Or kick down when throttle Is wide opened. Bob Haag
