If you do not know about that , it can seem impossible to tighten it . As if something is missing . Supposed to be a rubber block in there too, in the wedge place ; Noel i do not see it . Often missing , it stops noises .
That said , kind of problematic design , soon dropped — as constant motion wears the hole in the mount egg shaped , soon pump axle and belt pulley is tilted. But it can limp along like that for a long while .
This had a thread on here a few times . I once made a kit to mount it solidly , had to fix it on first F i ever owned . maybe 1970 .
