Lake Minnetonka-area artist Thom Lofquist has returned to paint the 2019 10,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance artwork. Thom enjoys experimenting with painting styles and in this painting, he tested his hand at a vintage and simple 50’s style Ad Agency look. The idea was to do a flat and stylized quick painting because ad agency artists of the era were often under a serious deadline. It is ironic that such a flat and relatively primitive art is so much in vogue once again. This painting will be featured on the cover of the 201910,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance program! |

| It takes 1,498 feet of fencing to enclose the Excelsior Commons for the 10,000 Lakes Concours d'Elegance! We have a terrific, high energy team of volunteers who set up the fence Saturday evening and take it down on Sunday afternoon! |
