The crank goes round and round, the pistons go up and down, Valves open and close. The only thing that cares about rotation is the camshaft, starter and dist. The dist probably could just be rewired. If you were gonna re-purpose the engine, you would replace those parts, at least and then it would run in the correct rotation.I haven't built an engine in 17 years, so I might have missed something...RayOn Sat, Feb 27, 2016 at 9:03 AM, 'David Schwandt' finsruskw@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx [Chrysler300] <Chrysler300-noreply@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:Imagine that!!

Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] MARINE HEMI
Is it true that some of these Marine engines rotate in the opposite direction when used in a 'twin screw' application? Might need to check that operation before putting it in a car!

Hi All,
A neighbor of a friend that I work with has a Chrysler hemi out of a '54 boat that he might be interested in selling. If anyone has any interest, please contact me off line and I will try to connect you with the owner.
Thanks,
