...continuing my 2 cents worth I went to a garage tour at a fellow's home and dream garage years ago. He had 20 or so fabulous cars in show condition from the 20's to the 50's. Somebody at the get together asked him how do you keep them running so well? His answer was "three things: Optima batteries, av-gas and driving them regularly" He lives a few miles from a small private airport and is able to fill up a 55 gallon barrel in his pick-up and then hand pumps it into the cars. Had to replace exhaust manifold gaskets the next week. Didn't buy avgas a second time. Best I can do is drive 35 miles to get 93 octane corn gas--which is better than 91 corn gas.
