  Subject: [Chrysler300] 1958 300D Power Steering Problem

When I bought my car 4 years ago I noticed that the steering wheel would not come back to center on its own after making a turn left or right
Also it steers real easy like I think it is supposed to

Over the last 4 years I replaced everything in the steering & front suspension systems even the power steering gear

The only thing I have not replaced is the Power Steering Pump

I thought maybe if I added some additional positive caster over what was recommended in the manual it might fix this

So I have 2 ½ degrees of positive caster now & the manual says between 0 & 1 ½ & the steering wheel still does not come back to center on its own after a turn

Has anybody else had a similar problem & been able to figure out how to fix it

  Any suggestions would be appreciated

  Thanks

  Larry Jabin
