[Chrysler300] Chrysler300] 1962 300 - Cooling Question

I suspect that the thermostat is not opening smoothly and may be making
only one move when it gets hot enough. It then has opened enough to
allow gradual cooling to near its usual reading. I also suspect it never
totally closes. I have seen this behavior in the past.
