I am restoring an original 40,000 mile 300D convertible that has been in a pile of parts since the 1960's. It is coming back together now, and while most of it is there (or I have been able to find what is missing), one piece has presented a challenge I was hoping someone in the group could help with. The long side spear stainless trim (PN#1759295) on the passenger side has been damaged beyond repair (according to stainless expert George Iverson). The good news is it seems like the left and right are interchangable and the same piece was used from '57-'59. The bad news it is unique to the 300 model. If anyone has one in restorable condition or might have a suggestion where to look it would be greatly appreciated!
