Re: [Chrysler300] Engine Paint

The experience I had with ordering the Mopar turquoise paint was that althought it carried the same part no:, the color was totally different from what the old colors I had previously brought and what I was getting now. Someone in the many emails earlier had mentioned a green color that closely matched the original turquoise color.

  Hi Group,

I had the engine on my second H steam cleaned on Wednesday and the new MOPAR turquoise paint on my intake manifold turned yellow.
I have also noted that both thermostat housings (painted with the same paint) have yellowed.

I guess that this paint isn't good for temperatures much over 180 degrees.

There is an ad in the WPC News for engine enamels and the seller says that it is good up to 600 degrees and I have ordered 2 spray cans.

Any suggestions and/or advice will be greatly appreciated.
