RE: [Chrysler300] 1957 crankshaft pulley A/C car

Did anyone find or help Russel earlier with his 300C AirCond crank pulley woes?!

Russel also asked me earlier re what size was the crank pulley on my 300Cs, and finally this morning the sun is out ( we had only one fully sunny day in August here in the driest State in Aust, yet rain for month still not up to average, and it was also coldest nights on record month since records started ! ), so I took my chance and measured one of my non A/C cars - diameter of front of two pulley/row piece is about 5 and half inches, and the front face of this two row pulley sits/is about 3 inches forward of the cast damper it bolts up to. Behind (and/or part of) the two rows of pulley, and making up this three inch total measurement, is somewhat of a factory steel spacer/spacing, which is either where the aircond pulleys are if A/C car, or else the A/C pulleys sit on front of the two row part that all 300Cs would then have? Second row of pulley is slightly smaller diam again.

Hope this helps Russel if still looking, and others may know if this pulley I merasured is normal 300C factory issue. From Russel's post below, if he gets a (normal two row rear?) 300C one, he then just needs the ones that go on the front, andt at least can use his car until he does, as rear two run fan power steer etc,.

I need the crankshaft pulley or pulleys for a 1957 392 hemi motor for a 300C with factory Air conditioning......mine looks to be 2 pulleys....each with 2 grooves....they fit together making a 4 groove pulley.....the inner 2 grooves closer to the engine block are smaller in diameter..approx 6 inches....the outer pulley is about 7 1/4 in diameter and has 2 grooves...the car has factory a/c....the pulley fell off after only being on the motor for 51 years and naturally it was at 40mph and I ran over it and ruined it.......it stands about 4 1/2 inches tall ..that would be the measurement from the rear where it bolts to the harmonic balancer to the front of the pulley near the radiator.......I hope this all makes sense and also hope one of you has what I need and wants to part with it..........thanks in advance Rusty Roe in Hermiston Oregon 1957 300c # 3N572550[Non-text portions of this message have been removed]
