When I worked at Chrysler Central Engineering, I remember the guys from the "Jack Lab", (Or wherever) coming down the driveway between the buildings. They would pick out the test car(s) of their choice that happened to be parked there, jack them up as high as they could and then knock them off the jacks to see what broke! Great fun, in "the time".... Joe Savard Lake Orion, Michigan In a message dated 7/25/2008 7:42:22 A.M. I believe it is the same as what I have on my 49 and 50's also but need to check one of these days to see if there are differences. One with a hook will be from later models. Not a very safe thing to use on the car at all. But still handy(better than nothing!) for emergencies. ----- Original Message ----- From: "RLS" <_obiwan10@xxxxxxxxxxxx (mailto:obiwan10@xxxxxxxxxxx) > To: <_chrysler300@chrysler300@chr_ (mailto:chrysler300@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx) >; "Rich Barber" <_c300@xxxxxxxx (mailto:c300@xxxxxxx) > Sent: Friday, July 25, 2008 3:19 AM Subject: Re: [Chrysler300] 1955 Bumper Jack > Bumper jacks are notorious for damaging you bumper when they are used.
