Richard: I can't speak for the specifics of the 2:76 ratio in the Chrysler 300 but I had that differential in a '64 New Yorker Salon with the 340HP, 413 CID engine and it wasn't too doggy around town. It really shined on the highway, however. That car would absolutely fly and it was hard to keep it within the speed limit. If I remember right, it got about 17-18 MPG on the average. It was also great in the snow, which it saw a lot of while I was driving back and forth to Champaign, IL during my college years.
