Rich and all: If my memory is not completely lost, I thought that back in those days any vehicle with more than one carb was exempt from the smog stuff. That meant that all of the letter cars (with dual carbs of any sort) were exempt from most of the smog laws. However, if they are going to now go back to pre-1976 vehicles, they can probably impose whatever limits that they want.
