Wayne may be correct about tinted glass coming as part of the A/C order mark in the 50's but with some authority I attest that when I was ordering thousands of Chrysler/Plymouths in the years 1965-69 and I am sure even after that for years, A/C code did not require tinted glass. Tinted glass was recommended but you had to check G11 to get it (at no additional cost if A/C had been ordered), or check G15 to get tinted windshield only, or G21 to get the all clear glass with the H51 A/C. This "no tint" code was a no charge option meaning you were paying for tinted glass when you bought the A/C but got no credit for deleting the colored glass. Just checked a 1974 code book and the above still applied. What a great job for a mid-twenties guy! To this day I marvel that those still alive that shared my time with Chrysler didn't much care for the job nor the company. ************************************** See what's free at http://www.aol.com.
