Re: [Chrysler300] Torqueflite Question

This is not unusual for a Torqueflite transmission. When the seal rings on the input shaft wear some, the torque converter will "leak down", draining the fluid into the transmission pan given enough time (sometimes overnight to several days). When you start the car and engage one of the gears, it may take 20 seconds or so for it to fill back up and provide motive force. There is no other effect from this and rebuilding a transmission to fix this wouldn't be worth it. It is not something to be concerned about in my opinion.
